If you love watching bake-off on the television and wish you had the confidence to pull of some of the delicious things that they bake, then this is the course for you.
Charlotte who has been baking cakes professionally since 2011 will guide you thorough some of her favourite home baking recipes. You get to take all you have baked home with you at the end of the course along with the recipes. Charlotte will provide you with her tested recipes for some tea time favourites so once you have baked them on the course you will be able to replicate baking at home in the future.
This is very much a course designed specifically for you. You will choose 3 bakes that you would like to make with Charlotte. There is a choice of 6 to choose from so you will definitely go home with your favourites.
Choose 3 from the following - Victoria Sandwich, Chocolate Brownies, Plain Scones, Shortbread, Banana Bread or Chocolate Chip Cookies
The course will consist of weighing out the ingredients, following the method with instructions from Charlotte. Use of a stand mixer. Tips of oven baking temperatures and timings to get the best results. Using lots of lovely baking equipment.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the course, all you need to bring with you is a an apron, maybe a notebook and lots of enthusiasm.
This class is suitable for complete beginners or home bakers who want to learn a few tricks of the trade.
This baking class is held at Charlotte Jane Cakes Cake Studio, Boars Hill, Oxford. The address will be given to you as soon as you have confirmed your booking.
